Mylot Maestro: Mylot user rating & reputation

In Mylot, you can see a number and a star beside a member's username. The higher numbers are called the Mylot user rating while the star is the Mylot reputation. But what are they?

Mylot user rating shows the level of a user's activity in Mylot. The more active you are the higher your user rating will be. The Mylot user rating will increase in the following instances:

1. When you start a discussion and someone respond to it for the first time.

2. When you comment back for the first time in a response given to your discussion

3. When you respond to someone's discussion and

4. When you comment back in someone's response in the discussion for the first time.

You can still keep on commenting back to every post as long as you still have something of substance to say, but the number in your Mylot user rating will not move anymore but it will still make you earn. Remember that you get paid for what you post.

Achieving a certain number of user ratings will entitle a member for some additional privileges like the following:

1. Reaching 100 user ratings will give a member his/her Mylot reputation

2. Reaching 200 user ratings will allow a member to use the Mylot codes (emoticons)

3. Reaching 500 user ratings will allow a member to use the 'copy & paste' feature and also will allow him/her to add images on discussions.
